Radical Pakistani politician Mujahideen opposed liberal relations between Kashmiri Muslims and Hindus in 1964. He plans to break the bond between them and separate them. He firmly believes that the Indian Army serves as the foundation of unity. He resorts to motivating and sending youths from Pakistan to Kashmir. To make his plans work, he urges them to stay in disguise. Afreen is a troublemaker from Pakistan who lives in the city of London in 1985 and hates everything about India and its people. In retaliation for eating the flag of Pakistan, he torched the car of Indian humanitarian Anand Mehta. He is asked by the administrative leadership group of the college to apologize to her.
Afreen could avoid telling the Indians that she was sorry, so the humanitarian offers her two options: pay her 1 million (Rs 10 lakh) or go to jail. She decides to pay him back as she is a tough and staunch patriot nationalist, and she travels back to Pakistan to see her grandfather, Pakistani Army Brigadier Tariq, who had given her the money to do so. However, he learns that his grandfather passed away after he came to Pakistan. In his will, he pleads with her to deliver a letter that Indian Army lieutenant Ram had sent to his fiancée, Sita Mahalakshmi of India, in 1965, but was unable to deliver himself. If she does so, she will successfully get the most out of it. Afreen agrees to give him the letter despite her initial reluctance so that she can take Tariq’s property.
